Old friends Jerry Granelli, Skip Beckwith and Don Palmer decided it was time to record a second album, the first was recorded live. This album features Don Palmer and in many way is a tribute to Sonny Rollins- Way Out West concept album. Recorded in Halifax with some swanky borrowed microphones by Lawrence Currie.

On December 30th of 2010 Jerry Granelli turned 70. 45 years prior to that he was peaking as a commercially successful Jazz ... more drummer with the Vince Guaraldi Trio. It was shortly after that success that Jerry took a hard turn left into the world of improvisation and musical exploration. He has never looked back.
